So happy to have happened upon Loma Mar on the way to Pescadero, CA. We had the BLTs which were amazing - red, juicy and flavorful tomatoes, thick bacon, wonderful garlic aioli sauce and delicious gluten free bread (my friend had his on sourdough and also loved it). The atmosphere is great - it's a cross between a log cabin and a lodge. There are card and board games provided next to some leather sofas and a coffee table to the side of the market which had a nice menu of groceries, sandwiches, soups and assortment of snacks, souvenirs, gifts and beverages. It's mostly self-serve but the staff was very friendly, the environment is very open and welcoming. We discovered later that they are a non-profit. Hope to get back there!

Saw this place on maps and made the beautiful drive here to pick up picnic supplies for a local hike. What a great selection of drinks, food, snacks and store items for healthy basic necessities. We got a couple wraps, pasta salad and thank the heavens we decided to get a piece of coffee cake. It’s one of the best I’ve ever had! We are going to plan a day to come here to eat again soon. Plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. Live music only added to the great vibe this special place already has.

A little gem in Pescadero. The citrus edamame sandwich was so good and the bowls are also nice. Very nice and friendly folks. Love the sign out front which says everyone is welcome!

Lovely little hidden gem up in the mountains. It’s a little mini store/restaurant with a rich history (check out their website for more info). I love to come and study up here from San Jose. It’s a very peaceful area. Lots of trees, birds, butterflies, and more. I have seen a stellar’s Jay, towhee, dark head junco, and red shouldered hawks.

We had the farm fresh deviled eggs, the citrus edamame sandwich, and the tater tots with homemade buttermilk ranch. All were absolutely delicious. The owners are the friendliest folks, as well. We spent a wonderful hour eating and having a beer outside on the deck and will be back again soon. Highly recommend.

Half general store, half roadside diner. Had items to purchase from candles to blankets, cups, refreshments, snacks, etc. I tried the burger they had, highly recommend! The patty was very juicy and the aioli they use is very tasty. I also had the mocha and I liked it as well. It is a bit of a ways to get to when coming from Highway 1, but it was definitely worth the drive. If I’m ever passing by Pescadero, I feel like I’ll have to stop by this place from now on!
